About Marcelle
Marcelle is a life-long learner as both a student and a teacher. She has ten years of experience at teaching elementary students in traditional schools as a classroom and gifted education teacher. She loves instilling a growth mindset in her students through engaging learning activities.
She homeschooled her four, now adult, children and led several cooperative learning groups and classes throughout their K-12 years.
She taught gifted students in Shanghai, China for DDC (Diligence & Delight Learning Center), a China-based educational institution whose purpose is providing challenging, creative courses for students with high academic aptitude and performance in primary and secondary school.
Her formal education includes a BA in Elementary Education K-6 with a Bible minor from Southeastern University. She received her Master’s Certificate in Gifted Education K-12 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
