About Daniel
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and am currently employed as a Design Engineer for a major Appliance manufacturer. I have always had a passion for math and helping people reach their potential (Yes, I realize how ridiculous that sounds, but it's true.) Math is not easy for everybody, but my goal with every student is to help them understand the concept, and not just give them an answer. I look forward to working with you all!
I enjoy seeing a student's attitude changing from frustration with a topic to the sense of accomplishment that they feel when they conquer the topic.
I first got started teaching/tutoring when I was in high school. Math and Sciennce has always just come naturally to me, but it's not that way for everybody. Students, typically, are more comfortable asking each other for help than they are asking the teacher for help, so I sort of became the class tutor. This introduced me to teaching/tutoring and helped me realize what I'm passionate about.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. I also have a passion for Math and helping others better themselves.

My typical process is to discuss what they don't understand about a particular subject or question. If this is known, it is then easier to help the student understand how to better learn a subject.
I have worked with adults who are going back to school to further their education. I've also worked with college students that are struggling their way through Math.
There are tutors that are trying to make a little extra money, and that's fine, but there are also tutors that are hoping to impact students and help them understand the material. Both of these can do a good job, but only one of these will go the extra mile to help their students. No matter who is being hired, they need to put the students first.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about why you are struggling. Figure out what you are struggling with, and then determine why you cannot figure out the problem. Prepare some questions to ask about the topics that you are struggling with.
