About Lindsay
Hello! I am currently taking several AP classes and have taken honors math and science classes all throughout school. I will be attending Hood College and majoring in biochemistry. I have gotten As in all of my advanced math and science classes and got a 680 on the math section of the SAT. I have consistently been at the top of my class in all of my high school math classes including; honors geometry, honors algebra 2, honors pre-calculus, and AP Calculus AB. I have a deep understanding of all of the concepts in these subjects and have been reviewing them very frequently. I have taken every science class that my school offers and have received multiple awards in the science department. I also have multiple ways to study that work for all types of students, which I would be happy to share.
I am very passionate about tutoring students and helping them achieve their goals. To me, the best part of tutoring is seeing the joy on the student’s face when they understand a concept. I have tutored other students at my high school and at middle schools for the past 4 years. My proudest achievement is when I tutored a young man in geometry, who at the beginning was failing. From dedicating much of my time to helping him grow in his understanding, he was able to earn an A on his final exam and a B in the class.
