About Kendall
As a student in high school, I understand the fast-paced environment students face today. I am an honors student, I have always been in higher-level classes, however, I showed an interest and a deeper understanding of math from an early age. I have tutored peers since I was young, but I love working with students elementary-middle school ages.
Aside from math, I love science and engineering. Currently, I am a sophomore at Washington Virtual academy, but I live in the lake stevens area. Next year, I plan to start college part-time at Everett community college, then go to Medical school out of state.
I have been looking for ways to help out in my community, and a friend recommended that I tutor. I have been tutoring peers in my grade since middle school but had never thought of working with younger students, but I love working with kids, I work with elementary-age kids at my local church, and I volunteered in my sister's second-grade classroom.

I would start with goals, what they want to achieve, and what grades they want by the end of the grading period. I would ask how the student learns best, so I can improve how we communicate. After that, I make a plan. I work together with the parents and the student to make attainable goals for our time together.
