About Timothy
Beryl Math Tutoring stands out based on its willingness to help out students, whatever is required to allow students to succeed. It prides itself in its valuing patience, respect, understanding, kindness, and extreme competence regarding helping students with any math concepts.
I worked at the Antelope Valley College as a Math Center Tutor from Fall 2012 to the end of Fall 2015, and I helped students from Math 50, 60, 70, 102, 130, 135, 150, 160, 250, which basically translates to basic arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Trigonometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, and Introductory Statistics.

My typical process for working with a new student is that I ask the student what we're going to do for the session; from there, we basically work on whatever the student wants us to work on, and I make sure to ask lots of questions to help the student understand all the concepts. The goal is that the student understands and feels confident about everything we cover. Of course, I make sure that I have a very friendly time with the student.
