About Vanessa

Passionate for Math, but more for teaching. I love passing my knowledge onto those who need it the most to succeed in school or in life.

I have been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school (a little more than 10 years ago). I mainly tutor Algebra and Geometry, but have tutored other subjects such a Spanish for the GED and essay composition. YES, I am bilingual!

I'm a very patient as well as a great communicator specially when it comes to tutoring. I can tutor big groups of students as well as the most effective one in my opinion, the one on one sessions where the focus is solely on you.

I am a graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor's in Mathematics in the pursue of my Teaching Credentials.

One of the best moments I can ever hope for as a tutor is the "ah ha!" moments; that's when I know I have done my part of the job.

I'm looking forward to tutoring you (or your kids :) ) and be part of their success.
