About Kya
I have an Elementary Teaching Degree and a Masters in Teaching and Technology. I have six years teaching experience working with third through sixth graders. I am comfortable with the content taught at those levels. I prefer meeting the students at local libraries or coffee shops for tutoring sessions.

First, I will discuss with the parents where the child is struggling and if I am a good fit for his/her needs. If we are a good match, we will decide when and where to meet for tutoring. I prefer local libraries or coffee shops. Tutoring sessions may last from 1-2 hours.
