About Alexandria

I am currently a behavioral health teacher. I have worked with my program for over 2 years, teaching students ranging from K-3 in subjects such as reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, and spelling. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching since 2015. I have taken a variety of training courses throughout my profession, including CPR, suicide prevention, autism awareness, and how to manage and cope with anxiety and stress. In the summer of 2017, I also taught English to students in Thailand with the company XploreAsia.

Although I do not own my own tutoring company, I am confident and passionate within my teaching career and would love the opportunity to help out students with the necessary needs to feel better about school.

I enjoy seeing the look on my student's faces when they finally understand what they have been learning. I love seeing my students excited about reading because they feel more confident and enjoy the process of learning more.

I start by getting to know the student. I take into consideration their hobbies and interests. I use that information to develop lessons and activities that help suit the needs of that student but also keep them interested and motivated to learn.
