About Michael
From 2006-2010, I had taught mathematics, and since 2010, have been providing full-time private tutoring services. I work with students on topics from Pre-Algebra to Calculus, whether specifically for a class, or as part of test preparation for an entrance exam.
Prior to becoming a teacher/tutor, I had done the programming, installation, and training of Point-of-Sale equipment, as well as accounting functions, such as Business Personal Property Taxes. Through these experiences, I can draw on practical applications for my tutoring, as well as the abilities to be flexible, adaptable, and most of all, patient!
My degree is a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Wayne State University's College of Science, where I did a combined curriculum with the University's College of Education for my teacher certification.

Perfect! I worked with him online for a few months, and he was honestly one of the best math tutors that I have had. I really enjoyed that he sent me the notes from our lesson, the way he conducted the session, and that he was really good at explaining concepts if I was confused. I immediately saw an improvement in my homework and quiz scores once I began working with him. I found him so helpful that I am using him for my next math class! I would highly recommend him!
Perfect! Very patient and offers multiple methods to solve a problem in order for you to pick the best option for you.
Perfect! He is very nice and intelligent and helped my son several times in geometry. My son loves him and the way he teaches and I am very very happy with how he taught my son.
Perfect! Very nice and very professional. Has rented office suite. Michael was flexible and tailored his instruction to what my son needed. My son scored higher on his final than first or second quarter grades!
