About Sara

Knowledge is the greatest power in today’s society. Excellence Tutors do not only help students learn but also teach the student different ways to solve problems which can be used for now and later. We tutor through Skype videochat and the whiteboard tool Idroo where the student can see when the tutor explains everything step by step. Teaching online makes it easier for the Student to learn in an comfortable environment and skip to drive.

I love that students get to achieve the goals they set for themselves. Seeing students happy because they learned new things and understand it is very rewarding. I have had parents thank me because the are so heppy that their kids start enjoying the subjects with the way I teach. I am very passionate about what I do.

I got started years ago teaching at the University Learning Center helping other university students.

I have years of training as a student learning assistant at the university learning center in Long Beach. We had great training in dealing with different students and learning different techniques to reach the students way of learning.

About the lesson

I usually try solving some problems with them to see were they are at level wise. I adapt to every students and make a unique technique for each one because we all learn differently. I try making them feel comfortable by encouraging them and being very understanding that it sometimes can get a little frusturating since I myself have went through this before whe i was a student. This way we can connect and the student can feel comfortable to ask and learn.

I have worked with and still work with all kinds of students. From kids in 4th and 5th grade to high-school, to university and even people that are 50 and 60 year old looking to take different kinds og construction exams ot to become teachers. I have great people skills and experience that makes it very easy for me to have students of all ages and skills.

Please look for someone that knows what they are doing. A tutor that not only understand the subject, but also loves teaching it and enjoys doing so. It will make you enjoy learning :)!
