About Sarah

I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. I love to help others in any way I can, hence why I would love to be a physician. But I have found joy in helping others with a gift many of us take for granted - learning! To inspire others to enjoy learning and to figure out ways that they can learn the material - maybe ways they have never learned before -- is what I seek to do in tutoring! Every student is different, and I make it my goal to tailor my teaching style to every student to ensure they are not only succeeding on assignments but actually understanding the material and information at the same time.
