About Arianna
I am a recent high school graduate, so I know how hard middle and high school math can be. During high school, I took AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics, so if you need higher level help with math, I am always up to help! I also have previous experience tutoring a variety of students different levels of math, ranging from elementary schoolers to high school students. I have tutored elementary schoolers math (around 3rd to 5th grade math) for 4 years and high school students (algebra and geometry) for around 6 years.
I love to see the progress of my student. I feel happy when my students become confident in the subjects they are studying in, as well. Tutoring allows for me to help others, and I find meaning in helping others succeed.
I got started because I needed service hours for school, but I fell in love teaching others. I was ecstatic when my students started to learn more things from me and I really enjoyed teaching others.
I have an advanced high school diploma from South County High School. My math grades were at least A-'s, if not A's. I also recieved a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam. Lastly, I was in my school's chapter of Mu Alpha Theta (the math honor society), and would often tutor my peers for service hours. I would also work with my local community action center to tutor elementary school students in need every Tuesday, and would focus on tutoring math.

I like to introduce myself and figure out the initial level of my students during the first lesson. From there, I then get an idea of how proficient my student is, and try to make a plan to work on my student's challenges.
I have worked with students who have really struggled with math who need step-by-step guidance, and other students who want someone to look over their work to make sure it is correct.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about the things that you are not sure about, no matter how insignificant you may think these questions are. Teachers are hired for you to help you. The best wau we can help is to know all of your questions so that you can feel confident when you go to class or take a test.
