About Graham
I am excited about the opportunity to help you or your child build confidence and excel academically! With a strong foundation in Physics and Mathematics, combined with years of tutoring experience, I specialize in making challenging concepts approachable, intuitive, and engaging.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude with a 3.93 GPA. I then completed my Master of Arts in Physics at Stony Brook University with a 3.91 GPA. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted research on the Belle II particle physics experiment, and my graduate research focused on the NASA-funded LuSEE-Night mission, where I developed computational models and analyzed scientific data. I am now continuing my graduate studies in Medical Physics at Washington University in St. Louis.
I have experience tutoring students from elementary school through graduate-level coursework in one-on-one and classroom settings. My areas of expertise include Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, AP Calculus, ACT and SAT Math, AP and IB Physics, and university-level mathematics and physics, including Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Thermodynamics, Real Analysis, and Abstract Algebra.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to fit each individual. Whether that means building intuition with visual explanations, connecting concepts to real-world applications, or carefully working through problems step by step, my goal is to help students develop genuine understanding rather than simply memorize procedures.
Whether you're looking to improve classroom performance, prepare for AP, IB, SAT, ACT, or college exams, strengthen your problem-solving skills, or gain confidence in challenging subjects, I'd be delighted to help you achieve your academic goals.
