About Luca

Hi! My name is Luca.

I've been tutoring Math for 10 years now, and I've tutored over 100 students and have done well on standardized tests like 800 Math SAT and 760 GMAT.

My favorite subject to teach is any kind of High School math. I do best with students who have trouble learning from the teacher in class and feel they have fallen behind. I can help them to fill in some of the missing concepts and to rebuild their confidence in their own math abilities.

I first started tutoring as a volunteer when I was a student at Stanford and I loved it. Ever since, I've been doing tutoring on the side.

I did my undergrad in math at U of R and I did my masters at Stanford in economics.

About the lesson

Just hit the ground running. Nothing special needed. Now with the coronavirus, I do most of my tutoring online with screen sharing.

I've worked with students ranging from age 8 to students in graduate school. I love tutoring all kinds of math and economics, game theory is my favorite!

Relax...once you give up your fears and worries, you will steadily get to your education goals.

Recently I've been working with a young girl on fractions and using areas and visuals to build a strong fundamental understanding in the topic.
