About Susanna-Lady
I operate on a student-led approach first. This makes me and student know where they are inclined to approach a problem and complement it or correct it if necessary.
I enjoy that I get to serve and form acquaintances with new people.
I started teaching by tutoring an 8th grader.
I am glad to have had experience as a Mentor in a STEM program, that started my track in the education field. I also am a tutor.

I love figuring out the work process that's best suited for each student. I start by verifying with them what areas they are having issues with. I also ask my new students what topics they have covered and which concepts they have down. Then we proceed from there.
As of now, I have worked with a single student. She is a wonderful young girl who has ADHD and is not a native English speaker , so she has an especially challenging time reading the terminologies in math.
My advice for students looking to hire a teacher is to find one that seems empathetic enough and one who understands the position you are in. It is one thing to know the material super well, it is another to share that knowledge in a non-condescending manner.
My fondest moments are having a laugh with my student during and after lessons, it's the bonding process I'm especially fond of.
