About Chris

I have tutored many students on the side and provided group review sessions before Regents exams. The material may not always seem easy to the student but I try to break down the problems so that they understand what is being asked and the easiest way to solve.

Students almost always seem to come back for more.

I have been teaching over 15 years and enjoy the happiness of students when they start to be able to do it themselves. No help, no guidance, self-sufficient. It is the best!

I started teaching over 15 years ago when asked by others who saw me as a coach. I taught service learning and later moved to Math when the opportunity was there.

I am a certified math Grades 7-12 and have tutored on the side for many students, especially Regents exams.

About the lesson

Find out where they are at with a basic diagnostic test. Leave with some easier questions answered for confidence but ask the student to try a few questions on their own

From excelling to struggling. Many want to pass a class or a Regents exam so I can boost confidence.

Look for experience in the field and find a good fit.
