About Rohan

I'm a rising senior in the IB Program and have tutored students in the past in various subjects. I have taken many rigorous college-level courses spanning over history, science, math, english, spanish and economics. I am passionate and available to tutor math, english, ACT, science (biology or chemistry) and spanish up to a high school level.

I am passionate about learning and teaching students. I am an active participant in my high school's Math Honor Society, where I tutor kids in various subjects they are struggling with. I also am a part of the Spanish Honor Society, where I tutor students in basic Spanish. My favorite part of tutoring is when a student has been struggling with a particular subject and they get their "aha" moment where the information finally makes sense. As a student and a tutor, that is really a fulfilling moment.

I am currently enrolled in the IB program and have taken college- level courses spanning over every general subject. Additionally, I have tutored before in my school's Math and Spanish Honor Societies, teaching students spanish and math subjects that they were struggling with. With my education and past experience, I am apt in tutoring any student in the subject they need. I have also gotten a 34 on the ACT.

About the lesson

First, I will test what the student is capable and analyze where I see strengths and weaknesses of knowledge. From there, I will teach or re-teach the student's weaknesses. Once the student understands the subject, we will do practice together. When the student masters the practices with me, I will give them assessments to test their ability.

Aric

He was a great math tutor that helped me with geometry work. He explained things in simple terms and helped me understand the mistakes I was making and taught me how I should fix them. Definitely recommend.
