About Michael
I have excellent communication skills and work with each individual based upon how they view or understand math problems and help them tweek their frustrations or misunderstandings to allow them to become math achievers!
I enjoy teaching others and guiding individuals to success. I feel that every teacher is different and every student learns differently, I enjoy bridging the gaps of the teachers lesson /and the students understandings.
In the Navy I was an instructor for 300 reservist for 3 years and loved it.

Develop an understanding of the students frustrations with the subject. Allow the atudent to work through math problems and explain their thoughts and actions. Provide guidance in the problems to help students see where mistakes occurred in order for them to see where the problem is going wrong. Provide helpful tricks or phrases to ease complications. Retrain on necessary underlying issues they maybe causing problems. (Example, retrain fractions rules if student has algebra equation steps correct but their math when doing fractions isnt correct). Show the student how to check answers for correctness. Provide positive feedback to give student more confident feeling in their ability to achieve their struggles.
