About Rommel
I am an electrical engineer working in the aerospace industry. I earned a BS in electrical engineering Magna cum laude from Florida International University and am currently working on my MS in electrical engineering with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
As an undergraduate student I tutored other students up through calculus and was a Learning Assistant. My goal is to help students connect theoretical/academic concepts with real world application. By making this connection students will not only better understand the material better, but will also motivate students to want to learn more.
I believe in the importance of STEM and its key role in the sustained growth and stability of the U.S. economy. STEM education creates critical thinkers and increases science literacy. My goal is to share what I know and enable the next generation of innovators.

Rommel is probably the best tutor I have ever had. Not only does he explain things in a simple way you can understand but he writes you the best notes! I have repeatedly got A’s on my test because of those notes! They are literally magic! He is also very patient too and will explain things to you until you understand. Super great tutor I will continue to use his services!
