About Michelle

I am fully vaccinated as of 4/23/21.

I have 6+ years of experience in childcare and academic tutoring. I am an engineering senior dedicated to helping children and young adults succeed in learning skills! I have brough value to the community as an engineering mentor and upper level math tutor (precal-Dynamic Systems) as well as fundamental learning training in children ages 0-10.

I love looking at learning in new ways! As someone who has struggled with math learning disabilities, I see different ways to approach problem areas. I was very used to not understanding in class and I know how frustrating that can be! If we can show students "how" what they are learning actually applies to the world around them, there is far more of a chance of retention and understanding. Problem solving is fueled by self-driven interest and genuinely wanting to know "why" for yourself! By taking some of the abstract out of learning we can actually connect to these important fundamentals. This is my goal!
