About Sofia
Hi, my name is Sofia! Two things: I love working with students, and I love to travel. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point!
I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from Texas A&M and have been tutoring with SoFlo for two years. Math and Science tend to build on themselves, so my methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to fill them in with individualized lessons! At SoFlo, we want to improve grades, understanding, and confidence. In the long-term, we hope to work ourselves out of a job once your student is fully self-sufficient!
