About Jose
I focus on the student's approach towards the subject in addition to explaining and working math problems with students. I find that the right approach is what really gets students to understand and apply math principles.
I love to see a students' math skills progress as we work together towards a deeper understanding of the subject!
I received academic achievements from a young age. In eighth grade, I was unanimously selected by the teachers to receive the award for math and science. Additionally, I graduated from high school within the top 10% of my graduating class. I obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and a Graduate degree from Florida international University.

I begin by getting to know the students, their background and what they feel they are struggling with. I find that a lot of times, more than the subject itself, the student's willingness to learn and the right approach towards the subject is what will set them on the best path towards progress.
