About Michael
As a graduate from Delaware County Community College and University of Phoenix, I am a former math teacher. I really enjoyed teaching, but I found that I am most effective working one-on-one or in small groups. I have extensive experience, having worked with students for almost 2 decades. I have experience with students of many different ages and abilities. My business extends online as well as in person. As a former PCA, I also have extensive experience working with special needs students.
I keep careful records of all work done with my students, and the student gets to keep all work that we do together. I provide parents with regular updates to keep them informed.
I am a gentle, patient tutor that provides a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable opening up to me when they have questions. I love watching students grow and learn. I also love taking an interest in the student's interests, and showing them how math relates to those things.
I am more comfortable working with older students, but I am experienced with younger students as well.
