About Abigail
I found while mentoring that I enjoyed helping students improve on a one-on-one basis.
I have tutored for two years and have mentored in classes where I have helped students for two years before that.

I first talk with the parent or guardian to determine what the student is struggling with. I then talk to the child about what they are struggling with and what has helped them in the past to get an idea for what will work best for them.
I have worked with students that have ADHD, anxiety, and autism. I have also worked with those that do not have them.
It is important to make sure your student gets along with the teacher. If they cannot work well together the learning process could be hindered.
I was able to help my most recent student improve on a test, and we both had a mini celebration.
