About
I stand out as an instructor because I have an energetic, captivating, and easy-to-grasp way of explaining things. I like to make lessons involved and focused on the material, but also colloquial and fun.
I hold a bachelor's degree in history, which is naturally my specialty. My degree involved a lot of writing, and any form of scholarly writing is a strength of mine. I can also teach mathematics up to the level of my own studies (mid-level algebra). I have worked with younger and older students alike.
I like to emphasize critical thought and a deep understanding of the subject, and I am an engaging speaker. In addition, I'm a plain ol' friendly person and

One thing I love even more than learning about this fascinating world is sharing the knowledge and perspective I have learned! I am passionate about thought and reason, and I think that this shows in my lessons.
I have been fortunate enough to travel much of the world extensively, which has really broadened my knowledge and perspective. I try to get students to think about their own work from multiple perspectives.
I began doing teaching during my own studies. It is my goal to be a professor and to teach at a university.

First and foremost, a friendly and jovial introduction. Following that, I try to really get a sense of where the student's understanding is presently in that subject, and what their educational needs are.
A few different students. I have worked as a private tutor with English and language skills for students aged elementary school, algebra with middle school aged students, and also I would assist classmates significantly with their own papers and academic writing work in my history program.
