About Edwin
I have an MBA in finance with work in statistics and a bachelors in Neuroscience with advanced calculus and physics. I am a portfolio manager/ trader and have worked for investment banks and hedge funds as an analyst and trader. I love math and the markets. I have had interns learning about the stock markets as young as 10-15 years old. I have taught at the Montessori School and in corporate settings for adults.
The first step is always reviewing where young people are in math and strengthening all math skills. I coach soccer and baseball and thus my approach is a fun disciplined learning of the concepts then practicing like kicking soccer balls or fielding ground balls. Your child will love and understand and more importantly will learn how to attack any math problem.
I love and enjoy math, from the basics to fractions, PEMDAS, Trig, algebra, binomials, trinomials, quadratics, Pythagorean to my favorite y = mx + B which is used in all forms of finance and the markets..
MBA in Finance BA Neuroscience. I am a Portfolio Manager in credit (bonds) and stocks which require algebra and statistics. I tutor a 15 and 13 and 10 year old in the markets, math and science.
