About Lucas
I am currently a software engineer at Apple specializing in backend infrastructure. I graduate from Duke University with a minor in mathematics and Bachelors in Computer Science. I have been teaching high school level and above mathematics as a hobby (pre-calculus and above) for several years. I also can teach upper level computer science topics like computer networking, databases, etc on request.
I do not work with people doing introductory level college courses or middle schoolers or younger as I focus very heavily on theoretical understanding and mathematical comprehension.
I currently live in Manhattan and am happy to meet midtown or upper west side. I also do online tutoring.
My rates for mathematics are $70/hr and my rates for computer science topics are subject to negotiation.
Education: BSc Computer Science and Minor Mathematics from Duke University.
