About Tamrah
My name is Tamrah Chalom and I got my Bachelor's in Communications from UCLA and MPH and MSW from Columbia University. I have been tutoring for over 6 years in various subjects, specializing in Sciences and Mathematics. I have tutored several students in Biology, Chemistry, AP Biology, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Calculus, Statistics, Economics etc. I work to identify students’ learning gaps and create a structured, personalized lesson plan to both improve their learning skills and optimize classroom success. All of my students have made substantial grade improvement, many from the C / D range to the A range. Finally, I have worked with several students with learning disabilities and helped them develop interventional strategies to help maintain their focus, overcome challenges, and enjoy learning!
