About Amelia
I am Amelia Justo, a 2nd grade teacher. I recently obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2021 and the Initial Teaching Certiication in Elementary Education (305). I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2019. I was inducted into the Gamma Beta Sigma International Business Honor Society that honors the top 10% of the graduating class. I have been the 2nd Grade teacher for the past two school years. During my time, I was able to develop trust and rapport with the students, align all my units and lessons to the Connecticut CCSS, and establish my role as a teacher inside the classroom. I also provide one-on-one time with all of my students during personalized learning. Students are working on differentiated rotations and this allows me the opportunity to help students with their specific needs.
