About Gokhan

My name is Gokhan Gumus, I was a science teacher between 2004 and 2013. I supervised 3 students for several international and national science project competitions. In total, they got 2 gold and 3 silver medals in different international science project competitions.

I completed my master education in the IT field in 2013. Between 2013 and 2018 I was teaching programming courses at a university for computer engineering and information technology students. Mainly I taught; Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, web development, data structures, and algorithms.

I have a valid teaching certificate in Michigan and I also teach PLTW automation and robotics course.

Right now I am working as a software developer.

I always have two loves, one is teaching and the other is programming. Before I complete my master degree I was teaching science and my aim was not only to teach science but to make students love science. I like to perform hands-on activities as much as possible. I always passion to support science with technology.

Programming and web development, on the other hand, is something else... I do love coding and facing challenges. Codding makes me forget my hunger and keep me awake until very late at midnight. It is a passion and I want to share this joy and feeling with my students. Programming is a continuous cycle of tries and fails until you reach your goal. I enjoy being on this journey and I want to guide my students about this pride as well.

I officially start teaching by 2004. But I was giving tutorings at my neighborhood since I was at grade 8. My very first pocket money was due to tutoring one of fellow in math when I was grade 8.

I have a bachelor degree in science teaching and a master degree in information technologies.

I did teach different levels of science courses (elementary 4 to high school physics ) for 9 years and I also taught different courses about information technologies ( JAVA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, 3DsMAX, PHP, MySql, HCI, data structures and algorithms ) at a university for 5 years. I always use math as a tool to achieve my goals and taught my students how to use math to solve their problems.

I also have a valid teaching certificate in Michigan.

3. Arrange meeting date, place, and frequency.

4. Payment method and amount

You need to be precise about your goal about the service you are about to get. Ask yourself the reason... Is it because of getting a passing score from the subject? Is it because you need support for your project/homework? or Is it because you want to learn it?

Once you are sure about your goal then you can ask your tutor that either he/she can provide you these or not?
