About Sharon

I have been tutoring for 5 years, primarily for K-12 students struggling in math and science. I recently graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in physics and have a solid foundation for middle school + high school math and science. I also have experience tutoring for English, writing and social studies. I am patient and understanding of any gaps in knowledge and am willing to do what it takes to get my clients caught up and confident.

Tutoring is rewarding because I get to help students succeed in subjects that have great real-world applications, but that they may have difficulty understanding on their own. I enjoy seeing students' progress and development and rejoice with them in their successes. I know from previous tutoring experience that anyone can succeed in their desired subject, as long as they put in the necessary effort and are not afraid to ask for help.
