About Kevin
I provide fundamental math skills to elementary and middle schools students. I also tutor in Algebra up to College Algebra.
I enjoy helping kids get excited about learning the fundamentals in mathematics.
We have a foster son who recently came into our care. He is 8 and is behind on his math skills. I sat down with him every night for an hour and a half to teach him the fundamentals.
I have a degree in International Business and Economics, but love tutoring the fundamentals of math, algebra, and some economics.

Step 1 is to find out where they currently are in the process. For example, if they are working on multiplication and division, but are having trouble doing addition and subtraction, we will start there and work up to what they need to be working on. Step 2 is to continue on the current path and even get ahead of the class with more complex problems.
Local students from my home town when I was in high school, but now picking it back up again.
Look for someone who will value the time you have for the student and not to just earn some extra money on the side. I really enjoy teaching math and to help the kids really understand it.
