About Atzimba
I have been teaching math for more than 15 years. I enjoy helping students build their math skills.
I enjoy seeing students discover new ways to understand math concepts. I enjoy witnessing true individual effort.
I started getting involved in teaching by noticing that I liked helping my siblings and school classmates, especially in math. In college, I worked as a tutor and continued to enjoy helping out my classmates.
I am fully credentialed by the state of California to teach Math. I currently teach high school level Geometry and Statistics.

I like to find out about them as a student such as the classes they are currently enrolled and what career aspirations they have. I also like to find out how they feel about their current math class and math competency. From there, I like to ask how they prepare for quizzes and or tests.
I have worked with various grade levels but primarily with middle and high schoolers.
