About Molly
Molly Leavens recently graduated from Harvard, where she designed her own major in Food and the Environment with a secondary in studio art and a Spanish citation. She wrote her senior thesis on sustainability in the chocolate industry with field work across eight countries and three continents. She is the first National Udall Environmental Scholar from Harvard in 13 years and advised former VP Al Gore on agricultural policy.
Molly began tutoring math and science in high school. She took the highest level of math offered in the district when she was 14 and scored a perfect 800 on her SAT biology exam. At Harvard, she worked for four years as a Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellow at the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning. In this position, she worked with Harvard faculty to develop new assignments that utilized creative modes of communication.
Molly is excited to help tutor math, science, and writing to elementary, middle school, and high school students. She can also advice on the college application process.
