About Mia
I love helping students in math and other areas as well. I know all too well that teachers can often fail to give students that 1 on 1 individualized learning and sometimes teach in ways that just don't work for you. I love understanding why things work the way they do, and sharing this knowledge with others in a way that they understand it. I am currently taking college calculus 2 and college chemistry, so I have lots of experience.
I have taken all math classes up through college calculus 2. In science, I have taken honors biology, honors chemistry, college chemistry 1, and am currently in college chemistry 2. In social studies, I have taken AP American history and am currently in college government. I have tutored many people at my school.

I usually ask them to show me what they are currently working on, and if possible explain their current confusion. I explain to them the process of what they are working on and why that process works. I go through practice problems explaining what to do and why step by step, answering any questions they may have along the way.
