About Austin
I have a degree in Mathematics Education and am beginning my second year of teaching mathematics in Honduras. Even though I moved to Honduras, I am still able to help with mathematics tutoring using various online tools and apps. For example, here is a website I put together for my students during the COVID-19 virus:
(concealed information)
I have been tutoring for over 5 years. I have taken a break from tutoring because I have been working full-time as a math teacher but am looking at beginning to tutor again.
Here is my LinkedIn account:

One of the things I enjoy the most is seeing those I work with overcome the "dread" of mathematics and learn to see its beauty and usefulness. Even when people only want to pass a test or understand a subject, I love seeing clients accomplish their goals through personalized plans I create for them.
I have a Teaching License for Mathematics Education through the Arkansas Department of Education.
I am currently a Math teacher in Honduras where my wife and I teach.

I begin by first getting to know the student's interests and hobbies. Then, I identify what areas or skills the student needs support in. From there, the student and I begin to develop a plan of attack to help the student begin to master the skills she/he is struggling with.

Mr. Hudson has always made sure that I understood the problems at hand, and didn’t just give me the answers. When I struggled he was never one I was afraid to ask for help. He is a great teacher, and person overall. He’s always made me feel like even if I’m struggling, I’ll be able to grasp the problem. And I definitely did.
