About Benita
I've been a math tutor for the past 3 years and have plenty of experience tutoring kids younger than me. I am an uprising senior at Central Highschool and never got less than a 95 in any of my math classes.
I started off as a student at math corps and worked my way up to a teaching assistant. I also tutored my classmates for community service hours in freshman year.
I have been a math tutor at Math Corps for the past 3 years; I have been a member for the past 4 years. I have experience teaching algebra 1 to 7th-9th graders.

I first get to know the student and ask what they struggle with the most. However, I don't just teach new material but also review old lessons and skills in order to make sure my students have a strong foundation to build upon.
I have worked with both male and female students. Student the same age as me (16) and younger. Students that struggle significantly with math as well as student that just need to hone their math skills.
