About Adrian

Hi,

I have been working as an elementary school teacher for almost 20 years. I teach reading, writing, and math. Math is my favorite subject to teach. I have tutored many students throughout Phoenix through different tutoring agencies. I could tutor students online using Google Meets. I will make math so much easier to understand for your child!

I attended Syracuse University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. I graduated in 2001 and spent my first 3 years in the Casa Grande Elementary School District, then 3 years teaching in Tempe Elementary School District, and have been in the Washington Elementary School District for the last 13 years.

I have worked for 20 years in a public school setting as a special education teacher with grades K - 6. I individualize instruction for students with IEPs for reading, writing, and math. I have also tutored students in math after school through outside agencies throughout Phoenix. In addition, I have also tutored ELL students in algebra for evening classes.

About the lesson

After introducing myself, I would try to see where the present levels of academic performance. That would include an informal assessment to to determine their strengths and weaknesses.
