About Dylan
Hi, I'm Dylan. I am a tutor for advanced math and physics as well as reading and language skills. I have taken many AP classes and tutored many students. I’ve found that teaching is what makes or breaks a student’s results and ability to enjoy the class. Not everyone learns the way some teachers teach, and others might need outside time devoted to more learning. Whatever the reason for looking for a tutor, I believe everyone deserves an opportunity for one on one education that can be tailored to their learning needs. What is important is that you find the tutor for you. I hope that can be me, and it may not, but I am confident that I can work with anyone to find how they learn best and give them the tools they need to be successful and enjoy the class. If you are interested in my qualifications/awards, some are listed below.

I enjoy the moment when a student grasps and understands a concept or topic, but what truly makes me happy is when a student I am tutoring enjoys the material they are working on.
I started teaching in the National Honor Society (NHS) tutoring program and have stuck with it ever since.

I like to ask about their experience with their classes so far and what they think intrigued them, but most of all I like to know why they are getting tutoring; is it because they want they grades, or they want to pass, do they want to learn more. All these things matter when finding the right approach to learning.
I have worked with elementary school students up to seniors in high school. I love to teach all ages and see the different stages of learning.
I would say that it may not work out with you and your teacher at school or the first tutor you hire, but keep looking! There will be a person out there who's able to inspire you to learn your way.

Dylan is the best tutor I've ever had. I could tell that he wasn't just there to help me with my grades, he was actually invested in making me a better student and more invested in my own work, and it worked after awhile. I went from not really liking math to it being one of my favorite classes and getting way better grades. He has a style of being able to get you excited about your progress and how far you've come, versus some others I tried before that just tried to help me preparing me for just one test.
