About Raghav
I'm a university student majoring in math, physics, and astronomy. I've been practicing math, both theoretical and applied, for a long time now. It's my favorite subject, and I'd love to be able to help anyone appreciate the beauty of math and not just plug in numbers.
This is my first formal job teaching. That being said, the feeling of helping someone else understand something new or something they are struggling with is awesome.
I am currently a university student who has tutored friends in college-level math and physics.

Math is all about doing - the learning process is done actively, not passively. I start by having the student do some problems, so I can gauge what the student's capabilities are and where the student needs help.
I have helped high school and college students.
Find someone who you think you'll relate to! You'll find that the learning process is much more fun. This is why I make the first session free, so students can get a feel for what they're getting into before they commit.
I gave a talk on the application of Lie Algebras in quantum mechanics a year ago. It was a lot of fun!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
First and foremost, a student should never feel ashamed or embarrassed to say they don't understand something. That's why I'm here! Talk to me about what you're struggling with, and we can work it out step-by-step before you have to apply that knowledge on a test.
