About Glenn
I really enjoy using alternate methods of teaching basic math which fit the needs of the students. That "Eureka!" moment stands out as a top moment for me, when a student finally gets the concept.
I enjoy helping kids understand what their role is in school, and how that reflects on their current situations and their possible futures. I enjoy the marathon of guiding students into the world of responsibility and focus.

Of course, I must determine the student's level of understanding and commitment to learning. Once that is established, I patiently form strategies to work with the student, not only to improve their math skills, but their commitment to learning. I have a Bachelor's degree, and have been working in a high school environment for the past 13 years. I have tutored all ninth grade subjects, but see the most need in math. I have also been involved in behavior intervention programs hich contribute to helping students function better in classroom atmospheres, thus enhancing their focus.
