About George
I am CRLA certified through the International Tutor Traning Program Certification. I am currently a student, peer mentor, and math tutor at the Clackamas Community College.
In my younger years I struggled with math myself, so I understand the students struggle and frustration. I want to help students gain a life long understanding of math.
I enjoy seeing students reach their "aha" moment. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing students continue to learn and grow. Children are our future's foundation and the best thing we can do is provide them the best education. Every student has different learning styles and I do my best to find the best fit learning methods. I want to nurture the students desire for learning and curiosity.

My first session is just a guaging process where I observe the student. I want to understand what the student feels comfortable with and where their struggles are rooted.
My overall goal is to create an environment that encourages and nurtures the student's desire to learn.
I mostly work with high school and college students. However, I am up for the challenge of working with younger students. I believe encouraging and providing students the proper education starts in their younger years.
