About David
Hello, my name is David Hill. I am a junior studying applied mathematics and physics at Harvard University. I value education and have completed over 1500 hours of tutoring. I have been tutoring for 3 years and hope to continue working in academia after graduating college. Despite growing up in a small and rural part of Georgia, I achieved my dream of becoming the first student in my high school’s history to be accepted into Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. I truly enjoy helping students attend their dream universities. Hence, my favorite subjects to teach include the SAT, ACT, and the college application process. In fact, I received a perfect score on the math section of the SAT, and my reading score is in the 99th percentile. I am also fond of tutoring all mathematical concepts found in the K-12 curriculum. In my free time, I love to exercise. My three favorite forms of exercise are playing basketball, running, and lifting weights. My favorite board game is chess, and I almost never turn down a game of chess. Last but certainly not least, I make time for video games as well. My go-to video games are Call of Duty, NBA 2k, and Fortnite.
I love helping students achieve thier academic goals. I want every student to realize that they can succeed academically.
I started tutoring friends in highschool and truly enjoyed it.
I have been tutoring for over 3 years and have completed over 1500 hours of tutoring.

I first identity what areas the student struggles in if he or she does not already know. I then work to ensure that the student understand those concepts, and I keep an eye for any other concepts the student may not understand.
I have tutored students from ages 5 to 20.
I would say find a teacher that has a teaching style you graviate to. Try out multiple tutors before settling on one.
I recently witnessed many of my students do quite well on the SAT, and I was glad to see that their hard work paid off.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If I were a student, I would ask the teacher what their expertise is in that specifc area and about thier teaching style.
