About Janie
1-2-1 Learning Center is an independent powerhouse specializing in tutorial services for the communities in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. At present, the center is strategically located in the Mid Valley Area or Weslaco, Texas. The Center houses a team of 11 certified teachers (6 females and 5 male) with various expertise and credentials, of which, 2 are Licensed Dyslexia Therapist or Certified Academic Language Therapist (C.A.L.T.‘ s). The team’s Professional Certifications include Kindergarten, Elementary Childhood EC-4th, EC-6th, Special Education, Bilingual Education, English as a Second Language, Language Arts, Gifted & Talented, Social Studies, Science, Counseling, Math (Elementary, Secondary, & College) and Mid–Management. These various skills enhance our tutorial services in an array of subject areas and address an extensive field of instructional and tutorial resources ranging from elementary needs to post-secondary skills.
