About Jeff
I believe in not only answering the question - "how do I do this?" but also the even more important question - "when will I ever use this?" In order for students to succeed in math, they must connect the purpose and reason for doing it.
Math can be cool and everyone can do it. I make sure to meet students where they are and bring them along in the way that is best for their learning style.
I'm an engineer, and have experience in group and individual tutoring at the college level from algebra to college calculus. Having received multiple rewards in high school and college for math, I'm proficient yet have the teaching skills to appropriately explain concepts and applications.
