About Damini

I have always known that teaching was my passion since I was a little girl! The joy I find in teaching children and seeing them learn and grow can never be matched. I put my all into my students and I will find any way possible to see them reach the stars. As a college student who still in school pursing a career in teaching, tutoring will be a great experience for me to get ready for my own classroom! I look forward to helping my student grow and reach beyond thier limits using their thinking caps!!

I have an Assoicate Degree in Childhood Education and I am currently a Junior at The City College of New York University to obtain my Bachelors in Childhood Education. I have tutored a few students indiviually that was recommend by family and friends. I have also down student teaching as a requirement for my major. I am a full time manager at a shoe store so I do consider that to be a teaching experience as I have learned patience, leadership and many other valuable qualities you need as an educator.

English

When starting to work with a new student I first get to know what way is best for them to learn. I try to figure out if are they are visual learner, hands on learner or vocal learner. After seeing which way they learn best I begin to incorporate that way into how I teach them.
