About Kasia

Hello! I am currently taking on new students for one-time or regular tutoring in high school and college level math, statistics, and programming (C++, java, python, R scripting). My qualifications are a bachelors in math and statistics, and a PhD in statistics. I work in statistical software development and enjoy helping people learn about these subjects, since they're often difficult to get the hang of at first. Tutoring will be over zoom or google meet, in 30-60 minute sessions.

BA in statistics and mathematics from Rutgers University

Masters in statistics from North Carolina State University

Currently working on my dissertation in statistics at NCSU

Worked at IEEE and SAS as a developer and statistician

About the lesson

Spend a session getting to know the student and understanding what challenges they are facing in their courses, or what they are particularly interested in learning. I also like to incorporate examples from areas that the student enjoys, like encorporating hobbies or shows they enjoy.
