About Mary
My method to teaching is I ask alot of leading questions to get the students to understand concepts. If I can lead a student to the answer instead of telling them right away, the student owns the knowledge because it's something they've worked for. I will let a student struggle just enough to stretch their brain but not to the point they give up.
I am patient and flexible with different approaches to teaching a topic to adapt to needs of my student. I have experience with a variety of students from different backgrounds.
Currently I am a high school teacher and I have Bachelors degree in Mathematics and a Masters of Business Administration. I am also a certified teacher Mathematics grade 8-12 and have an English as a Second Language Certification. I specialize in Algebra to Precalculus
