About Katrina
I have always had a passion for helping, and with three little sisters I grew up always aiding with homework!
I now have my Bachelors in Psychology and am in the process of recieving my Maters in Social Work. I have been in honors programs in high school and college. I graduated high school with a 4.3 GPA and undergradtuate college with a 3.5 GPA. I have created and run state programs for child welfare companies and now work for DCFS and Medicaid.
High School: honors program, AP classes, and college courses. Graduated with 4.3 GPA
Rooseveult University: Graduated with BA in Psychology, honors program, 3.5 GPA
Western New Mexico University: Pursing my Masters in Social Work, currently 3.8 GPA
Professional work including writing, planning, and social wervices for the past three years including work with DCFS, Medicaid, and substitute teaching in public school.

When a student may need my help to improve their work, I like to have a general understand of what they are looking for in a tutor and what their work consists of. Pictures of homework, assignments, or lessons are helpful!
Then I meet the student and/or parent via phone or video call. If the student would like to work with me, we set up meetings from there!
I have worked with children ranging from 0-18 years old.
While substitute teaching, I worked with children from 4 years old to 15 years old.
I have tutored all ages included adults.
Make sure the teacher sees what you need to work on so that they can confirm if they can help you!
Meet with the teacher once, even over the phone is fine, before deciding on a teacher so that you can get a feel for how your sessions may go.
