About Kelsey

I love being able to help students reach their goals! I have completed a two-year teacher preparation program and am currently going to school to get my Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education. Throughout the years, I have had experience working with students as young as preschool age and as old as sixteen.

I am licensed through the state of Massachusetts to teach K-6 English, literature, and math.

I prefer to teach through multiple domains, whether it be hands-on, creative and artistic, or visual and audible. I make sure to spend time working with the student to see what strategies work for them.

I have known that I have wanted to be a teacher since I was about thirteen years old! I have always loved watching the lightbulb go off in a child's head when they finally understand a subject that they have been struggling with!

I have completed a two-year teacher preparation program and am currently getting my Master's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have worked at preschools, elementary schools, and interned in a highschool geometry class.

About the lesson

I understand that not every student learns the same way. I work with students and do a variety of multiple activities to see which way they learn and understand best.

I have worked with students in preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school. I have also worked with students with special needs and currently in college working toward my degree in Special Education.
